LastPass Names Asad Siddiqui Chief Information Officer

Siddiqui will play key role in delivering technology strategy that will continue to drive innovation, security and trust

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LastPass, a leader in password and identity management solutions, today named Asad Siddiqui chief information officer (CIO). Under his leadership, Siddiqui’s teams will provide direction for the creation and execution of the IT vision, strategy and operating plans in support of the company’s business strategy. Specifically, Siddiqui will develop and execute a technology strategy that drives continued transformation, innovation, security and trust to advance LastPass’ vision.

Siddiqui brings more than two decades of experience leading both startups and large technology organizations. Most recently, he was the CIO at Celigo where he played a significant role in building and scaling the SaaS business by leading the company’s technology strategy and operations. Prior to Celigo, Siddiqui held several leadership positions at Asana, LinkedIn and Zynga. He began his career as a product engineer in the FinTech space and transitioned into roles that melded business architecture with IT operations.
