AUBURN HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Continental Automotive, a leading technology company, today announced it has been named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity in 2024. This is the first time the company has been acknowledged for this honor.

The annual list features the top large and mid-size companies recognized by employees for valuing diversity and cultivating a dynamic environment where new ideas come to life through a mix of perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. The study, conducted by data research firm Plant-A Insights, independently interviewed more than 220,000 employees in the United States and collected over 1.5 million comprehensive company reviews. The study is one of America’s largest independent workplace studies.

“We are very proud to be recognized by Newsweek for our diversity and inclusion efforts,” said Aruna Anand, President & CEO, Continental Automotive, North America. “Our company goal is to create value for a better tomorrow, that means for everyone and with everyone. Every voice and each person brings their passion and skills to work together as a team. This is embedded in our culture and ingrained in our company values.”

From supplier diversity to employee resource groups (ERGs), DE&I is rooted in Continental’s processes and culture. To ensure this commitment progresses, the company has identified three pillars that drive its efforts — creating an inclusive culture, ensuring a diverse workforce and investing in communities. Additionally, Continental has significantly grown its ERGs internally. ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that aim to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with the company’s core values.
