Two ONDA Lawyers Earn Family Law Board Certifications

Melissa Cowle, Chris Lambert latest to achieve specialization milestone

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Family law firm Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, LLP (ONDA) congratulates attorneys Melissa Cowle and Chris Lambert for earning Family Law Board Certifications from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Each of the firm’s eligible attorneys is now Board Certified in Family Law, a distinction earned by less than 1% of Texas attorneys. Board Certification requires continuing legal education, a passing score on the certification exam and other experience-related milestones.

While both certified specialists practice a wide variety of family law matters, Ms. Cowle focuses on divorce, property division, paternity, child custody and modifications. Mr. Lambert’s practice centers on divorce, child custody, enforcements, adoptions and family law appeals.

Ms. Cowle and Mr. Lambert have each earned repeat honors from Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers as Rising Stars and from The Best Lawyers in America as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. In addition, Ms. Cowle was recently featured in D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 listing.

Mr. Lambert earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, and Ms. Cowle earned her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
