Appoints Russell Carlson as Chief Financial Officer

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ShoreOne Insurance Managers, Inc. is pleased to announce that Russell (Russ) Carlson has been appointed Chief Financial Officer effective January 2, 2024. Russ will join the executive leadership team and report to Nick Steffey, Chairman & CEO.

Mr. Carlson brings 20+ years of financial leadership and insurance expertise to ShoreOne and will focus on driving profitable growth for the Company, as well as building confidence and alignment with ShoreOne business partners.

Mr. Carlson was most recently CFO for Bindable, the insurance technology leader for alternative and embedded distribution. Previously, Mr. Carlson held various senior finance leadership positions at Liberty Mutual within both the Group and International business units over a span of 13+ years. Prior to that Mr. Carlson spent 10+ years in the audit practices of both KPMG and Ernst and Young. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
