The 2024 OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade® Float, Woven Together, Invites Audiences to Watch or Stream the 2024 Rose Parade on New Year’s Day

The Float will be the Entry Number 26 on the Parade Lineup

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The OneLegacy Donate Life Float will ride down the streets of Pasadena this coming Monday, January 1, 2024. With 56 participants including organ, eye and tissue recipients and donors, more than 2,000 individually dedicated roses, and a group of Hopi tribe members who will perform the traditional Butterfly Dance, the Donate Life community is celebrating 21 years of participation in the Rose Parade® with its Woven Together: The Dance of Life float. The 135th annual parade will start at 8:00 a.m. PT (11:00 a.m. ET) and it will air on ABC, The Cowboy Channel, The Cowgirl Channel, Great American Family, KTLA, NBC, RFD-TV and Univision.

Viewers can also join the celebration via their first-ever Rose Parade livestream, which will be carried, in its entirety, by four streaming services, including Fubo TV, Christmas Plus, Pluto TV and LocalNow. The OneLegacy Donate Life float will be entry number 26 on the parade lineup, and it will be preceded by Na Koa Ali’I, the Hawaii All State Marching Band.

As the world’s most visible campaign to inspire organ, eye and tissue donation, the OneLegacy Donate Life Float honors the importance of saving lives through the power of organ, eye and tissue donation. The float will feature 22 organ and tissue recipients and living donors as riders and walkers and will honor 34 deceased donors through beautiful floral portraits, or floragraphs. The 56 honorees represent 17 states with ages ranging from 3 to 78 years old.

The 2024 OneLegacy Donate Life float pays homage to the music and dance traditions of the Hopi tribe, native to the American Southwest. The float features a beautiful Butterfly dancer wearing an intricate headdress. The majestic headdress includes cranberry seeds, dehydrated red peppers, carrots and black beans. Purple, blue and yellow statice are used to accentuate the details, and bright white everlasting flowers will make her feathers glisten.
