Insurance veteran and former United States Marine Corps sergeant joins Alliant Mergers and Acquisitions vertical within Alliant Specialty

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dan Berry has joined Alliant Insurance Services as Venture Capital Leader, Executive Vice President, Alliant M&A. Based in San Francisco, Berry brings specialized expertise in the risk management and insurance needs of venture capital and private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

For over two decades, Berry has developed tailored management liability insurance coverage solutions that empower clients to turn risk management activities into strategic business benefits. He has worked with hundreds of venture capital and private equity firms to help protect hundreds of billions of dollars in assets under management. Berry previously served as the private equity and venture capital group leader at a leading national brokerage firm. Additionally, Berry’s leadership experience includes serving as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.
