Diligent Named a Leader in Governance, Risk and Compliance Software in Q4 2023 Report by Independent Research Firm

Diligent received top possible scores in 14 criteria including audit management, regulatory change management and user experience

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diligent, a leading GRC SaaS company, today announced it has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Governance, Risk, and Compliance Software, Q4 2023, with the report noting “Diligent sets the standard for modern governance with its feature-rich platform.”

The Diligent One platform received the highest scores possible in the user experience, audit management, regulatory change management, continuous control monitoring, and content delivery, mapping and maintenance criteria. In the strategy category, the company received the highest scores possible in the vision, roadmap and partner ecosystem criteria. Diligent also received the highest score possible in the “market presence” category, as well as the sub-criteria of revenue and number of customers.

“Business leaders are living in a world of more — more risk, more oversight, and more data to untangle. With so much complexity, an integrated approach to GRC is necessary to clarify risk and provide the insights needed to drive performance and operational health,” said Brian Stafford, President and CEO of Diligent. “We’re extremely proud to be named as a Leader in Forrester’s rigorous evaluation process, a recognition that we believe corroborates our vision to provide leadership, boards and practitioners with a single source for all their GRC needs.”

The report calls out Diligent’s “superior vision” and position as “the only vendor to incorporate boards of directors into the GRC ecosystem,” noting “Diligent is a good fit for customers looking to consolidate GRC use cases in a single platform or align their GRC initiatives with the board.” It also mentions the Diligent One platform’s next-generation features, noting that the company's “roadmap packs an AI-powered punch, including platform centric generative AI, risk quantification, AI-accelerated audit, predictive risk intelligence, and AI supported regulatory management.”

“In looking for a GRC software vendor, we wanted to find a solution that would help us break down silos and leverage automation to oversee our risk and controls effectively and efficiently,” said Bronwyn Jesse, Risk and Controls Manager at the City of Lethbridge. “Using Diligent, we have been able to increase transparency by managing all of our risks and their impacts in one place.”

The Diligent One platform is the only GRC solution with continuous monitoring, analytics and automation built into its core so it can handle virtually any data set. On top of and integrated into the platform are best-in-class solutions covering governance, audit, compliance, risk and ESG. Built-in reporting templates help eliminate guesswork, allowing organizations to focus on the data points that truly matter, and making it easier to bring clarity to complex data sets, helping identify, analyze, monitor and report on risks.

The Forrester Wave™ is one of the industry’s most complete and detailed analyses, using a transparent methodology composed of vendor surveys, product demos, and customer reference calls to compare top players in the market.
