AIS Healthcare Celebrates International Volunteer Day

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AIS Healthcare, the leading provider of targeted drug delivery and infusion care solutions, is proud to recognize December 5th as International Volunteer Day. Established in 1983, the special day is meant to acknowledge the spirit of volunteerism and giving back to one’s community at the local, national, and international level. Since its founding in 2008, AIS Healthcare has championed a workplace culture that values the unique and impactful contributions of its employees in the communities where they live and work.

AIS Healthcare is committed to supporting the many communities in which we do business and serve patients. To further this commitment, AIS Healthcare recently introduced a Volunteer Time Off paid leave benefit to allow team members to serve their communities and the charities of their choosing. This past year, our employees volunteered at the North Texas Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Keep Jackson Beautiful, and Habitat for Humanity to name a few.

AIS Healthcare also instituted an Inclusion Council in 2021, a cross-departmental group of leaders dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion within the company. Since its inception, the Inclusion Council has created a calendar with a theme that highlights the diversity of our organization. This year's theme focuses on volunteerism, highlighting the company's commitment to making a difference in our home communities.

“AIS prides itself on going beyond what's expected to deliver the highest quality services to our patients. This includes an obligation to serve our communities and fellow neighbors. I am immensely proud of the time and energy our team devotes to the communities they call home,” said Simon Castellanos, AIS Healthcare CEO.

AIS Healthcare encourages employees with a passion for a cause or ideas on community service to share them with the Inclusion Council. The company celebrates the great service of its employees and encourages them to continue having a positive impact on the communities in which they live and work.
