$130 Million Advisor Team Joins Ameriprise Financial to Enhance the Experience They Deliver to Clients

Advisors say positive reactions from clients were a “huge compliment and affirmation of our decision to move our practice to Ameriprise”

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Financial advisors Jason Kokaly and Brian Reiber recently joined the independent channel of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) from Edward Jones in Flint, Michigan with more than $130 million in client assets.

“We moved to Ameriprise because of our clients,” Kokaly said. “After years of building outstanding client relationships, we found ourselves ready to expand and enhance the experience for the people we serve.”

Kokaly and Reiber are pleased with how the integrated technology and tools at Ameriprise enable them to meet clients’ needs better and faster than ever before. “With the efficiencies we’ve gained, we’re able to spend more time with clients, working hand-in-hand to help them achieve their financial goals,” said Reiber. “That’s the core mission and purpose of our careers, and it’s gratifying to reallocate more time and focus to it.”

Both advisors noted that clients have been highly complimentary of the changes they’ve seen with their move to Ameriprise, which has further affirmed their decision to make the switch. “We are off to an exciting start and we are very eager to see what the future holds for us at Ameriprise,” said Kokaly.

The team is supported locally by Ameriprise regional vice president Trish Moll.
