The Institutes CPCU Society Expands with Global Virtual Community and Equitable Membership Rates in Developing Nations

MALVERN, Pa.--()--Advancing its commitment to global inclusivity and accessibility for risk and insurance professionals, The Institutes CPCU Society has unveiled new tiered membership rates. This innovative approach, which is based on the World Bank’s classification of national economies, promises to offer a more equitable membership rate system tailored to each country's economic standing.

"The Institutes CPCU Society remains dedicated to providing knowledge and leadership opportunities for the global community of risk and insurance professionals," expressed Brett Clausen, CPCU, CIC, FLMI, President and Chair, of the CPCU Society Leadership Council. "Our goal with the new dues structure is to make our community even more diverse and welcoming."

On top of the updated dues system, the Society is proud to introduce the Global Virtual Community on the INteract social platform. Aimed at fostering global collaboration and learning, this virtual forum allows international professionals to share insights, seek advice, and engage in enriching discussions on various industry-related topics. Society members based in the United States who wish to be a part of this dynamic community are also encouraged to opt in to support the global conversation.

In the spotlight amidst these transformative steps is Daniel Osei-Agyemang, CPCU, CFE, AIC, ARM, AIS, the 2023 International Ambassador. Representing Prime Insurance Company Ltd., Ghana, Osei-Agyemang's rich professional background will be instrumental in bolstering international collaborations. "Receiving the honor of the CPCU Society International Ambassador empowers me to amplify the CPCU Society's influence, especially in Ghana and Africa. My focus remains on endorsing our industry's core values globally," commented Osei-Agyemang.

Society’s Leadership Council, Global Virtual Community Steering Committee, International Insurance Interest Group, and other key groups are committed to international members and spotlighting global industry trends remains pivotal within the CPCU Society.

"These initiatives exemplify our unwavering support to meet members’ needs wherever they may be on their professional path or geographic location. Joining the CPCU Society is more than just becoming a member; it's about investing in personal and professional growth," said Spenser Villwock, MBA, MNM, IOM, CAE, Executive Director of the CPCU Society.
