Urban Affairs Coalition Celebrates 54 Years of Community Impact at its Annual Awards & Networking Breakfast

The event honors four outstanding community leaders who have made a significant impact on the Philadelphia region.

--()--The Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) celebrates its 54th Anniversary with its community service awards and premier networking breakfast event on November 17. Four prominent community leaders – Calvin G. Butler Jr., Exelon; Jeffrey Lurie, Philadelphia Eagles; Estelle Richman, The Civic Coalition to Save Lives; and Independence Blue Cross – are being recognized for exemplifying the event's theme, Stronger Together: The Power of Coalition.

“These outstanding honorees have made a tremendous impact on our region and show the true power of what we can do when we work together,” said Sharmain Matlock-Turner, CEO of the Urban Affairs Coalition. “We are so proud to honor these leaders for their dedication and commitment, and for the impact their work has made on individuals’ lives.”

Together with our presenting sponsors, Exelon Corporation, PECO, and Merck & Co. Inc., we are looking forward to an exciting morning.

The breakfast convenes and connects influencers from around the City and is an essential fundraising event for continuing UAC’s goal of accomplishing together what no one organization can do alone. Nearly 1,000 leaders in business, government, and nonprofits are expected to attend this year’s breakfast. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets are still available here.
