Huron Recognized for Promoting and Advancing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global professional services firm Huron (NASDAQ: HURN) today announced that it has been honored by Consulting magazine in two firmwide categories for its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programming and retaining female talent. The firmwide categories are new to the Consulting magazine Women Leaders in Consulting awards for 2023.

Huron was recognized in the Retaining Female Talent category for its sponsorship program. Participants in the program are paired with senior leaders who support their professional growth, advocate for them, and help advance their careers.

Huron was also honored in the DEI Initiative category for its Women in Leadership Summit, which provides its future women leaders an opportunity to enhance networking and professional and leadership development, improve retention, and building relationships with the firm’s senior leadership.

“We are honored to receive these recognitions for fostering a workplace where diversity thrives and women have the ability to meaningfully grow and progress their careers,” said Mark Hussey, chief executive officer and president of Huron. “We remain committed to ensuring the foundation of our culture is built upon deep personal connections and a shared purpose that provides a sense of belonging where our people feel valued and respected, enabling them to view Huron as a place that fosters their ability to thrive professionally and personally.”

Huron’s initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in the company’s culture and core values. The firm’s longstanding dedication to DEI initiatives and retaining female talent has resulted in a vibrant workforce, where diverse voices play a crucial role in shaping the company’s culture.

The rankings were announced during the Women Leaders in Consulting awards ceremony on Nov. 2, 2023.
