KANARRAVILLE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BZI® (bzi.com) a national leader in construction and technology for safer, simpler, and more efficient building processes, announced today that the company has been named #1 in The Salt Lake Tribune’s Top Workplaces 2023 Awards in the Large Businesses category. Mountain America Credit Union and CHG Healthcare took second and third place. BZI was also recognized for its positive growth, inspiration and vision with the Direction Award (https://topworkplaces.sltrib.com/).
The awards, now in their 10th year, are based on feedback from BZI team members gathered through a third-party survey administered by research company Energage, LLC, a leading research and consulting firm, and provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
“Our team members are the heart and soul of BZI and the foundation of our success,” said James Barlow, CEO of BZI. “Fostering a leadership culture that is positive, nurturing and full of personal growth opportunities is paramount to our core approach to business operations. I’m thrilled to see our company recognized with such significant awards.”
“It is extremely rewarding to see that our values, culture and the team members we attract are having such a profound impact on the positive experiences of and outlook held by our team at BZI,” added Robert Hester, Chief Human Resources Officer. “The anonymous and unedited comments from our team members in the survey underscore our desired workplace environment. What an amazing team accomplishment and acknowledgement of our leadership in building a fulfilling culture.”
BZI had 450 team members when the survey was taken. The company has now reached more than 700 team members, due to the company’s business growth and unique offerings provided to workers in the construction and steel industries.
