Sponsored 2023 Comedy Fundraiser “Stand Up for Homes with Hope” in Support of Eliminating Homelessness in Fairfield County

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Colbeck Capital Management (“Colbeck”) today reaffirmed its commitment to Homes with Hope (the “Foundation”) following the firm’s sponsorship of the 2023 “Stand Up for Homes with Hope” comedy fundraiser event, which was held on October 14th, 2023, at the Quick Center for the Arts in Fairfield, Connecticut. This year’s event featured a live performance from Emmy-nominated comedian and correspondent on The Daily Show, Roy Wood Jr., and drew in-person attendance by and recognition from state and local lawmakers as well as children, families and large businesses in the region that engage in on-the-ground volunteer efforts to help the Foundation achieve its mission.

Founded in 1984, Homes with Hope is a Westport, Connecticut-based organization dedicated to preventing and eliminating homelessness in Fairfield County. The Foundation’s current offerings and initiatives include emergency shelter, supportive housing, rapid re-housing, a community kitchen, youth development and mentorship programs, and diversion services, an interactive, problem-solving-based intervention designed to help mitigate the long-term impact that homelessness can have on individuals experiencing it. In 2022, the organization aided 841 individuals and households.

“We are proud to reaffirm our devotion to Homes with Hope through our sponsorship of this year’s comedy fundraiser,” said Morris Beyda, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Colbeck.
