Dermavant Champions a Culture that Earns Three Best Workplace Rankings in 2023 by Fortune and Great Place to Work®

These awards mark Dermavant’s eighth recognition by the organizations for its commitment to providing an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.

LONG BEACH, Calif. & BASEL, Switzerland--()--Dermavant Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and commercializing innovative therapeutics in immuno-dermatology, today announced that the company has been named one of 2023’s Best Workplaces for Millennials™, Best Medium Workplaces™ and Best Workplaces in BioPharma™ by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work® — Dermavant’s eighth recognition by the organizations.

“At Dermavant, we pour our values of Heart, Mind, and Soul into everything we do,” said Todd Zavodnick, the Chief Executive Officer. “Being recognized by an organization of Fortune’s esteem on multiple occasions is a testament to the talented and passionate people that make up Dermavant and our commitment to cultivating a highly collaborative, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture. I am incredibly proud of the passion and talent of our team and what they have accomplished for people living with chronic skin conditions.”

To be listed in the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials™ List, companies had to be Great Place To Work Certified™ and have at least 50 millennial employees in the U.S. At a time when nearly half of U.S. employees are considering leaving their jobs, Dermavant has found the key to attracting millennials, the largest generation in the U.S. workforce, making up nearly 1/3 of their company.

“The workplace experience of millennials says a lot about your organization,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work®. “These workers are looking for authentic leadership, meaningful work, and a healthy work environment — and they show loyalty to those who can deliver.”

To determine the Fortune Best Medium Workplaces and Best Workplaces in BioPharma lists, Great Place to Work® analyzed survey responses from more than 30,000 employees from Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies. In surveys, 96% of Dermavant employees said it is a great place to work, compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.1

“At Dermavant, we pride ourselves on cultivating a highly collaborative, supportive, and honest culture to help foster workplace innovation,” said Bryan Gillespie, Vice President of Human Resources at Dermavant. “We maintain an open-door policy at all levels to ensure every employee is seen and valued.”

These awards come shortly after Dermavant was named one of the “100 Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” by the Los Angeles Business Journal for the fourth consecutive year, earning the number 19 spot on the 2023 Large-Sized Companies list.
