Dr. Dave Zieg Joins Alliant as National Director of Clinical Services

Zieg has extensive clinical, administrative, technological, and entrepreneurial experience to support new and ongoing initiatives

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dr. Dave Zieg has joined Alliant Insurance Services as First Vice President, National Director of Clinical Services within its Employee Benefits Group. Based in Colorado, Zieg is an accomplished physician who is board-certified in both family and lifestyle medicine. He has more than two decades of experience in clinical and executive leadership in addition to expertise in health tech, clinical quality, benefits design, direct contracting, employer-sponsored clinics, primary care, occupational medicine, behavioral health, and lifestyle medicine.

At Alliant, Zieg will support the continued development of clinical consulting resources. In addition to serving as a subject matter expert for clients, prospects, and internal teams, he’ll explore opportunities to collaborate on and create new opportunities and solutions that bring additional value to clients.

Throughout his varied career, Zieg served as a Partner and Clinical Services Leader for a consulting firm, leading a team of talented physicians, nurses, and other clinical and non-clinical professionals across the United States. He consulted with jumbo and mid-market employers across all industries on everything related to healthcare, having a special interest in value-based care solutions and quality-driven utilization. Zieg also spent 10 years with a global aerospace, defense, information security, and technology corporation as well as holding academic and hospital system leadership positions.

Prior to joining Alliant, Zieg led the clinical strategy and operations as Chief Medical Officer at a leading consumer digital health company. He received his M.D. from Creighton University and undergraduate degrees from California State University, Fullerton.
