GoNetspeed Construction to Bring Portland High-Speed Fiber Internet

PORTLAND, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GoNetspeed today announced that the City of Portland will soon have access to 100% fiber internet with construction having officially begun. Through GoNetspeed’s privately funded $8.5 investment in Portland, more than 13,000 residents and businesses throughout the area will receive access to service as early as this fall.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2023 when Portland will have the opportunity to experience GoNetspeed’s symmetrical fiber internet speeds, allowing customers to upload just as fast as they download.
