Dollar Tree, Inc. Names Jonathan Leiken Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

CHESAPEAKE, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) today announced an addition to its executive leadership team, with Jonathan Leiken joining the organization as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.

Mr. Leiken has more than 20 years of legal experience, and he most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Diebold Nixdorf, Inc., a global technology company that provides systems, services and software to the world’s leading banks (ATMs) and retailers (point of sale and self-checkout). Prior to that, Mr. Leiken was a partner at global law firm Jones Day and an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York (Criminal Division).

Mr. Leiken holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brandeis University. Among many civic endeavors, Mr. Leiken is the president of The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and teaches as an adjunct professor of law at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
