Softchoice Publishes 2022 ESG Report

TORONTO--()--Softchoice Corporation (“Softchoice” or the “Company”) (TSX: SFTC) today released its 2022 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing the Company’s efforts, achievements, and ambitions with respect to sustainable and responsible business practices.

In 2022, Softchoice advanced and expanded key ESG strategic priorities and focus areas, with achievements including:

  • Environmental sustainability: Embedding environmentally sustainable practices into its operations, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by ~3.4% and emissions intensity by 12%, and developing a roadmap to further reduce its environmental impact.
  • Social responsibility: Increasing the percentage of women in Softchoice’s workforce to ~39%, expanding charitable partnerships, receiving a 100% score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, and earning multiple Great Place to Work® rankings.
  • Governance excellence: Maintaining sound governance and rigorous oversight practices, featuring in the Globe and Mail’s Women Lead Here ranking for Canadian corporations leading in executive gender diversity, and welcoming Sylvie Veilleux, an accomplished technology executive, to its Board of Directors.
