DLA, LLC Announces Promotions, Recognizing Exceptional Performance

Erkhan Murad is promoted to Partner, Internal Audit.
Erkhan joined DLA’s Internal Audit group in 2016. His primary responsibilities are leading practice teams in building and enhancing clients' internal control frameworks and readying them to be SOX compliant. In addition, Erkhan has worked with existing public clients, specifically within the BDC, Mortgage REIT and Investment Management industries, to offer outside the box recommendations to reduce costs and improve processes. Further, Erkhan leads a wide variety of internal audit projects, including but not limited to, enterprise risk assessments, operational reviews, and process/system optimizations.

Christian Vardeleon is promoted to Managing Director, Internal Audit.
Christian joined DLA’s Internal Audit group in 2020. His primary responsibilities include leading engagements in analyzing and assessing risks assumed by financial services institutions including alternative asset managers, private equity, real estate, credit, hedge fund investment platforms, and capital markets firms. He has assessed and developed internal controls around products such as equity and fixed income securities, derivatives, and structured instruments, in addition to alternative investment products.

Kelly Grindem is promoted to Manager, Accounting Advisory.
Kelly joined DLA’s Accounting Advisory group in 2021. Her primary responsibilities are to assist clients with their accounting needs, including preparing monthly closes, financial statements, and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable. Her expertise lies in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, ERP implementations, and internal controls.

Dipti Shreyakar is promoted to Manager, Accounting Advisory
Dipti joined DLA’s Accounting Advisory group in 2021. Her primary responsibilities include assisting companies with their accounting operations including financial closings, account reconciliations, workpaper preparation, and financial reporting.

Brandon Alaniz is promoted to Manager, Internal Audit
Brandon joined DLA’s Internal Audit group in 2021. His primary responsibilities are in the planning, supervision, and execution of SOX engagements, as well as operational audits. He is highly skilled in performing risk assessments, understanding business processes, providing process improvement recommendations, designing internal controls, testing controls for operational effectiveness, and remediating internal control deficiencies.

Russell Stokes is promoted to Manager, Internal Audit
Russell joined DLA’s Internal Audit group in 2021. He focuses primarily on DLA’s real estate and BDC clients, and has developed, planned, and executed SOX and financial audit assignments in accordance with the IIA's standards for the practice of Internal Auditing.

Annan Yakubu is promoted to Manager, Internal Audit
Annan joined DLA’s Internal Audit group in 2018. His expertise includes preparation, supervision, and execution of Japanese Sarbanes Oxley (JSOX) and US SOX compliance and operational audits, ensuring compliance with industry policies and corporate objectives.
