Federman & Sherwood Investigates Roosevelt University for Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Roosevelt University with respect to a data breach. On May 25, 2023, Roosevelt University learned that unauthorized activity was reported on certain internal IT systems. On June 28, 2023, Roosevelt University notified individuals that submitted a free application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) received by Roosevelt may have been accessed or acquired by an unknown unauthorized person. Based on their preliminary investigation, an unknown party accessed those systems on May 1, 2023. According to Roosevelt University, the impacted information varies by individual, and may have included: name; address; driver license numbers, and social security numbers.
