Publix Reaches Milestone of More Than $100M Donated to March of Dimes

LAKELAND, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thanks to the generosity of its customers and associates, Publix reached a milestone of more than $100 million donated to March of Dimes since 1995. Funds raised during Publix’s annual March of Dimes campaign help improve the health of moms and babies.

This year alone, the Publix campaign raised nearly $6.4 million, earning the prestigious honor as March of Dimes’ No. 1 corporate partner for the eighth year in a row.

“This incredible milestone is only possible because of our generous customers and dedicated associates,” said Publix Director of Community Relations Dwaine Stevens. “It’s a privilege to be able to support a nonprofit organization that makes a difference to so many families in our communities — including those in the Publix family.”

“We are grateful to Publix and its dedicated associates and customers, who for 29 years have inspired their community to help tackle the nation’s maternal and infant health crisis by supporting the critical work we do at March of Dimes,” said Kelly Ernst, March of Dimes senior vice president and chief revenue and market impact officer. “With more than $100 million raised, Publix’s donations are important to the success of March of Dimes’ ongoing efforts to increase awareness to help improve birth outcomes and access to care.”

The dollars donated by Publix's customers and associates directly impact March of Dimes' mission to improve the health of moms and babies. The funds raised help more than 9 million individuals access vital education to support them during their pregnancy journey, provide training and education to more than 33,000 healthcare professionals, and supply critical information and medical supplies for NICU families.
