Standard Chartered US Named One of 2023 Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Seramount

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Chartered United States (the “Bank”) has been named one of the 2023 Best Companies for Multicultural Women by Seramount. This honor recognizes the Top 80 companies that create and use best practices in hiring, retaining, and promoting multicultural women in the United States. The complete list can be found here.

Since 2003, Seramount’s Best Companies for Multicultural Women has tracked corporations’ progress in creating cultures that encourage multicultural women to join and rise through the ranks. This year’s survey continued to assess progress for women by specific racial/ethnic group as well as factors influencing that progress, including mental health, anti-racism progress, and participation in mentoring and sponsorship programs.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as a top company for multicultural women by Seramount for the second consecutive year,” said Patricia Fuster, Standard Chartered Chief Information Officer for Europe and Americas and Chair of Americas’ Diversity and Inclusion Council. “Gender representation allows for a more diverse and inclusive workplace, which enables us to better serve our clients and communities. We hope to empower women and create an environment where everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed through gender-balanced considerations and policies such as hiring and promotion practices, resources that support women with caregiving responsibilities, and support groups.”

In addition to being named one of the Best Companies for Multicultural Women, Standard Chartered United States is also a Great Place to Work-Certified™ and Newsweek Most Loved Workplace-Certified organization.
