Stephens Continues to Add Fixed Income Capacity With Two Key Sales Hires

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stephens announced today that Edward “Ted” Kreppein and David Knause have joined the firm as Vice Presidents in Fixed Income Sales which is part of Stephens Fixed Income Sales & Trading division. Mr. Kreppein brings more than 20 years of fixed income experience to his role while Mr. Knause has been a fixed income sales executive for almost 10 years. These hires come on the heels of Senior Vice President Brad Tottle onboarding earlier this month. They will both be based in the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Stephens.

Mr. Kreppein will be focused on Institutional Fixed Income sales at Stephens. Mr. Kreppein was previously at Wells Fargo Securities where he was a leader in cross asset sales including securities, balance sheet hedging, and funding strategies. Prior to that Mr. Kreppin held several fixed income and investment banking roles at Piper Jaffray & Co., Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. and JPMorgan Chase. Mr. Kreppein earned a M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. from Northwestern University. He is also a veteran U.S. Marine Corps officer.

Mr. Knause will also be focused on Institutional Fixed Income sales at Stephens. Prior to joining Stephens, Mr. Knause was at Wells Fargo Securities where he spent the majority of his financial career with increasing levels of responsibility in fixed income. Prior to that Mr. Knause worked for The Vanguard Group. He earned a B.A. in Economics at Virginia Tech University.
