Capco names Naveen Kumar as new Partner to lead Payments practice in Canada

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Capco, a Wipro company, the global technology and management consultancy, has hired Naveen Kumar as a Partner to lead the company’s Canadian payments practice. Naveen is a highly experienced digital executive who brings extensive business and technology knowledge in both the public and private sectors.

Naveen is a recognized leader in business transformation with more than 20 years’ experience in financial and professional services in Canada and the United States. He has partnered with organizations to drive innovation and address strategic and operational needs through the practical application of new and emerging technologies and ideas.

Naveen joins Capco from Amrop, where he was a Partner and Canadian Head of Digital. His responsibilities included building and enabling clients’ digital strategies, end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, cyber security strategies and product rationalization. Prior to Amrop, Naveen held senior leadership roles at Info-Tech Research Group, KPMG, Citigroup, JP Morgan, and IBM.

In recent years, Naveen has been named by HMG Strategy as a 2019 Top Technology Executive to Watch and one of its 2020 Global Technology Executives that Matter, and was also as a recipient of its 2021 Global Leadership Institute Award. Naveen has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Bangalore University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and attended the Executive Leadership Program at Cornell University.
