Andersen’s U.S. National Tax Welcomes Managing Director Cory Ellenson

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Andersen welcomes Managing Director Cory Ellenson to US National Tax, specializing in Federal Tax Controversy. Cory brings more than 12 years of experience in Federal Tax Controversy, which includes representing clients through all stages of IRS audits and appeals and resolving all IRS practice and procedure matters.

Cory joins us from EY, where he led the Tax Controversy practice for all clients in the financial services industry across North and South America. Previously he served in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel.

“Cory’s experience with the IRS and in the private sector is a terrific addition to our Federal Tax Controversy practice,” said Ellen MacNeil, Managing Director of US National Tax for Andersen.

Cory graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS in accounting and received a JD specializing in tax law from the University of California Los Angeles – School of Law. He is a member of the California State Bar and the United States Tax Court Bar.
