AM Best Withdraws Credit Ratings of Frederick Mutual Insurance Company

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best has withdrawn the Financial Strength Rating of B+ (Good) and Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “bbb-” (Good) of Frederick Mutual Insurance Company (FMIC) (Frederick, MD). At the time of the withdrawal, the outlook on these Credit Ratings (ratings) was negative.

AM Best has withdrawn these ratings as the company has requested to no longer participate in AM Best’s interactive rating process. These ratings were downgraded on April 20, 2023, which serves as AM Best’s final rating update, and the company has now requested to withdraw its rating.
