AM Best to Participate and Exhibit at RIMS’ 2023 RISKWORLD Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate and exhibit at RISKWORLD—the RIMS 2023 Annual Conference and Exhibition—with sessions that will focus on the enterprise risk management approaches, flood mapping issues and failures, and embedded insurance. The risk management event takes place April 30-May 3, 2023, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

On May 1, at 11:30 a.m. (EDT), Jim Gillard, executive vice president and chief operating officer, AM Best, will give a presentation titled, “Unprecedented Market Environment: Highlights of Robustness and Weaknesses of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Approaches.” Gillard is responsible for AM Best’s rating operations globally, including data management, the development of rating methodology/models, the assignment of ratings and the management of all rating systems.

Vicky Riggs, associate director, AM Best, will take part in a session on May 1, at 3:30 p.m. (EDT) titled, “Flood Mapping Failures and Risk Rating 2.0 - Hinges on Access to the Industry and Community Consciousness. Eli Sanchez, associate director, AM Best, will take part in a discussion titled, “Embedded Insurance 2.0: Has the Time Come?” which is scheduled for 4 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, May 2.

In addition, AM Best will exhibit at booth No. 1241 at the conference.
