Industry Veteran Tapped to Lead HOMELINK Account Management Team

WATERLOO, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HOMELINK is pleased to announce that it has hired Laurie Whitney as vice president of account management. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the managed care industry, including 10 years at Sedgwick, a global provider of risk, benefits, and integrated solutions.

“We are so excited to welcome Laurie; she represents another example in a series of critical hires as we scale our business to meet growing customer needs,” said Matt Waller, president of HOMELINK. “Her extensive background in network and partner management make her the perfect fit to lead our account management team in continuing to provide the very best service to our customers.”

Whitney’s background includes a wide range of experience across the healthcare continuum, including acute care and community health. She held leadership roles in both PPO and specialty medical network development and integrated product development for patient-centric care. She led numerous strategic projects and business transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, develop and launch new service lines, and spearhead the company’s platform migration for clinical services.

“I love to take ‘possibility thinking’ and operationalize it to build out high-quality programs and services for our clients and mutual patients,” said Whitney. “HOMELINK clearly shares the same passion and I’m very excited to be part of the VGM family.”
