Dr. Stephen Manlove, From Manlove Brain and Body Health, Is Hosting a Free Educational Session–Preventing and Reversing Alzheimer’s Disease

RAPID CITY, S.D.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Often thought to be incurable and unpreventable, Alzheimer’s Disease affects 1 in 9 adults ages 65 and older. While there still is no quick fix for Alzheimer’s Disease, there are several things that we can do to decrease our risk and slow its course. Staying physically and socially active, managing stress, getting enough sleep, and eating healthy can significantly reduce your risk of developing this brain disease or reduce existing symptoms.

To help individuals take action with their own brain health, Rapid City psychiatrist Dr. Stephen Manlove from Manlove Brain and Body Health is hosting a free educational session–Preventing and Reversing Alzheimer’s Disease–at the Rapid City Public Library on Monday, March 27th. This talk is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the causes of Alzheimer’s and how to combat its effects. Registration is required as seating is limited. Please reserve your seat here.

Beyond lifestyle changes, Dr. Manlove will also discuss the importance of readily available laboratory analysis that allows him and his team of mental health specialists to identify and address abnormal labs. “Through this process, we can help give the brain what it needs to rebuild connections between neurons that the brain loses as we age. This helps the brain function at its best to decrease the likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s Disease or even reverse its course,” says Dr. Manlove.
