SHI International Named One of America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes

SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHI International, one of the largest IT solutions providers in the world, has been named by Forbes as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers 2023. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Forbes and Statista selected America’s Best Employers 2023 through an independent survey applied to a vast sample of approximately 45,000 U.S.-based workers at companies with more than 1,000 employees in America. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.

“We know that our success is rooted in the happiness and passion of a diverse workforce that constantly works together to create an exceptional environment,” said Thai Lee, President and CEO of SHI International. “I am especially proud that this recognition is the result of positive feedback provided directly by employees who continue to excel regardless of where their work is done and under any economic climate. Knowing that our employees feel valued, supported, and fulfilled in both their personal and professional lives is important to their own growth and translates to sustaining the positive, long-term customer and partner relationships at the heart of our success.”

SHI has been transforming businesses with modern technology and services for over three decades, and amid global expansion, the employee experience has consistently remained top of mind. The IT solutions provider was most recently recognized by Forbes as one of America's Largest Private Companies just last year, and has been recognized on nine other “Best Place to Work” lists through the years
