Joseph Bakutes has over 15 years of experience in accounting; specializing in guiding companies throughout the corporate lifecycle in matters including US GAAP, Internal / External Audit, Internal Controls, PCAOB Standards Policies and Procedures, System Conversion, Financial Reporting, Treasury, and Financial Risk Management. His experience in guiding organizations through change initiatives allowed him to improve their operational and financial performance, by re-engineering accounting and financial processes, and implementing new reporting and monitoring tools.

Prior to joining DLA, Joseph served as a Senior Director of Accounting with a technology platform, where he led the accounting function, implemented SEC required policies, and executed new financial reporting policies. Prior to working at the technology platform, he worked at Deloitte.
