Newfront Taps Industry Veteran Matthew Summers as Construction Leader

Summers joins Newfront, a Top-40 Insurance Broker, to expand both Construction expertise and footprint in Texas

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Newfront, the tech-driven insurance brokerage based in San Francisco, has appointed Matthew Summers to oversee the company’s Construction Practice and serve as Newfront’s Regional Managing Director for Texas.

Summers joins from Marsh, where he was the US Central Zone Construction Practice Leader. Risk & Insurance named him a Construction Power Broker in 2021.

Prior to Marsh, Summers was the North America Project Insurance Practice Leader at Willis Towers Watson, focusing on the marketing, national sales, account development, and execution of contractor controlled insurance programs (CCIPs), owner controlled insurance programs (OCIPs), and project programs.
