LongRange Capital Completes Acquisition of Batesville Services

STAMFORD, Conn. & BATESVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LongRange Capital (“LongRange”), a private investment firm focused on building and growing middle market businesses over the long-term, has completed its acquisition of Batesville Services (“Batesville”), a leading provider of quality death care products and services as well as innovative technology solutions, from Hillenbrand, Inc. (NYSE: HI).

The company, headquartered in Batesville, Indiana, has been a leader in the industry for more than a century, and offers a wide selection of burial and cremation products, keepsakes, and technology solutions that support the needs of licensed funeral professionals and families across North America. Chris Trainor will continue to lead Batesville as CEO, having served as its President since 2015.
