Grant Thornton’s Doreen Griffith Named to D CEO’s 2023 “Dallas 500”

Griffith, a member of the firm’s Partnership Board and its managing partner in Dallas, was recognized as one of the city’s most influential leaders

CHICAGO & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Doreen Griffith, the managing partner of Grant Thornton LLP’s Dallas office, has been included on D CEO’s prestigious “Dallas 500” list. D CEO, part of the D Magazine Partners family of publications, releases the list annually to recognize the most influential leaders in Dallas.

Unprecedented in scope, the 176-page 2023 edition of the Dallas 500 provides an engaging, personal look at people at the top of their game in more than 50 prominent industries. Griffith, who also serves on the firm’s Partnership Board, is one of 189 leaders who are appearing on the list for the first time.

“Doreen is without question one of the most influential and inspiring leaders I have ever worked with,” said Nichole Jordan, Grant Thornton’s national managing partner of Geography. “During her nearly 20 years at our firm, she has consistently combined a people-first leadership style with an ability to deliver the high-quality results and insights clients need, and I am fortunate to collaborate with her every day.”

Christine Perez, the editor of D CEO, noted that making this list is “no easy feat” in a large, vibrant and growing market like North Texas.

“Those featured in our 2023 edition are the best of the best,” she said. “They play an integral role in driving the local economy.”

For her part, Griffith says the award is a reflection of her Dallas colleagues and their ongoing work for clients in North Texas and throughout the country.

“There’s a reason I chose to come to Dallas: We have an incredible team of audit, tax, advisory and internally-focused professionals, and this region is the most exciting place to do business,” she said. “I am grateful for the many incredible professionals who made this recognition possible, and I can’t wait to do more great work alongside you and our clients.”
