ICSC Announces Glenn Rufrano to Continue as Chair in 2023; Jim Taylor Named Vice Chair

Brixmor President & CEO Taylor Joins Former VEREIT CEO Rufrano to Lead ICSC’s Board of Trustees; Eight Additional New Board Members Named

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ICSC announced today that Glenn Rufrano, former Chief Executive Officer of VEREIT, will continue as the organization’s Chairman, and Jim Taylor, President & Chief Executive Officer of Brixmor Property Group, will serve as Vice Chairman for the 2023 term.

Rufrano most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of VEREIT, prior to its merger with Realty Income in November 2021, and has served as ICSC’s Chairman since 2022. In the past, he also served as the Chairman and CEO of O’Connor Capital Partners, President and CEO of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., and several other roles throughout his distinguished career.

Taylor was appointed CEO and President of Brixmor Property Group in 2016 and brings extensive experience in retail and commercial real estate stemming from a more than 25-year career in the industry. Prior to Brixmor, Jim served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Federal Realty Investment Trust, and, prior to Federal, Head of Real Estate Investment Banking for Eastdil Wells Fargo.

ICSC will also welcome four Next Generation Trustees, comprised of leaders under 40 years old:
