AM Best to Participate at Annual Hawaii Captive Insurance Forum

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate in a panel session at the Hawaii Captive Insurance Council’s Annual Forum, taking place Oct. 17-20, 2022, in Oahu, HI.

Dan Teclaw, associate director, AM Best, will sit on a panel at the forum on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 9:30 a.m. (PDT), titled, “Top 5 Must Know Captive Practices.” Teclaw has been with AM Best since 2013, and manages a team of analysts that cover U.S.- and Caribbean-domiciled captive insurance companies, along with various other commercial specialty and excess and surplus lines carriers.

The Hawaii Captive Insurance Council, established in 1991, supports Hawaii as a leading captive domicile. This year’s forum, which is at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, will feature sessions on a variety of topics relevant to captive professionals, including best practices, compliance, social media and innovation.
