UK Long Drive Championship Partners With TrackMan

COPENHAGEN, Denmark--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TrackMan has been chosen as the technology partner for the UK Long Drive Championship, where the longest hitters from around the world will face off for the newly formatted British title.

In an unprecedented move, the UK Long Drive Championship has taken the flagship event indoors. Open qualifying will take place at TrackMan-powered simulator centres across the UK and Ireland, with qualifiers progressing to regional finals. The longest drivers then advance to a televised final where competitors will go head-to-head on stage before a live audience, all under the watchful eye of TrackMan technology.

In each round of the tournament, long drivers will compete using the TrackMan “Hit It!” game. Competitors will hit six balls in a timed period and record their best drives before submitting them to the UK Championship leaderboard.
