Grant Thornton names new office managing partner for Tampa Bay

Jason Geisler steps into new leadership role after six years as a partner

TAMPA BAY, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grant Thornton LLP, one of America’s largest audit, tax and advisory firms, has named Jason Geisler as the office managing partner (OMP) for the firm’s Tampa Bay office. Geisler has more than 18 years of experience in public accounting and has served as a partner in the firm’s Tampa Bay office for the last six years.

Throughout his career, Geisler has served public and private clients in a broad range of industries, including asset management, insurance, manufacturing, media and entertainment, and technology. His service experience includes financial statement and internal control audits, accounting pronouncement implementations, business acquisitions, and debt and equity offerings.

Geisler earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of South Florida. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He assumes his new role from Chris Martin, who now serves as OMP of the firm’s Boston office.
