Barry Holden, President and CEO of Hoover to Retire; David Gillrie Named to Succeed Holden

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barry Holden, president and chief executive officer of Hoover Treated Wood Products, a manufacturing division of Graham Holdings Company (NYSE: GHC), has announced that after 50 years with Hoover, he will retire later this year. David Gillrie has been named to succeed Holden.

A seasoned manufacturing executive, David Gillrie joins Hoover Treated Wood Products from Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, where he was president of four independent manufacturing facilities and commercial operations serving the commercial and home improvement channels in the Pacific Northwest. Previously, Gillrie held senior leadership positions with Blount International, Terex and Ingersoll-Rand.
