FPT Software named ‘Best Workplace in Asia, welcoming its 2000th employee in Japan

The leading IT company in South East Asia was announced one of ‘Best Workplaces in Asia’ by Great Place To Work®, while their subsidiary in Japan welcomed the 2000th employee along with a new office

HANOI, Vietnam--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The “Best Workplaces in Asia”, ranked by Great Place To Work® extended FPT Software’s long list of achievements in building a successful work environment.

The IT company was recognized for its positive corporate culture, based on authentic care and support for its people, from physical safety to psychological and emotional wellness. In particular, the company developed its strategy to put people at the heart of its operation, leveraging technology for better exchange across departments, updates on new policies and promoting two-way communication.

Understanding people’s fundamental needs to balance between personal career and family responsibilities, FPT Software built its culture based on three pillars. Experiment - provide opportunities for staff to experiment innovative solutions, hone new skills, rotate new positions and challenge themselves with ambitious projects. Fun - enhance connection with various activities, boosting creativity and bonding among colleagues. Care - for both employees and their family, with policies regarding house or car loans, tuition fees, healthcare and parents’ day.

Previously, FPT Software was named one of Vietnam’s Best Workplaces earlier this year. The impressive achievements and policies helped the company go further to the Asia list, reaffirming the unique culture and work environment of the leading IT company in South East Asia.

Simultaneously, FPT Japan Holdings (branch of FPT Software) participated in the Great Place To Work® Trust Index© survey in Japan and excellently achieved the certificate on its first try, announced in early September. The survey results showed that the company’s employees highly appreciated their leaders and managers, who are approachable and easy to talk to; they can work with peace of mind and look forward to going to work.

Employees were encouraged to challenge themselves with unprecedented projects, to demonstrate expertise, leadership and propose new approaches. With people from over 16 countries and diverse cultures, the subsidiary regularly holds engaging activities like sharing talks, art performances, music shows or community projects. Various policies ensuring employees’ benefits, healthcare and education support for both employees and their families are continuously promoted, whether in Vietnam, Japan or other territories.

The company welcomed its 2,000th employee at the end of September, opening its 13th office in Japan at the same time. 17 years after its first arrival in 2005, FPT Software has developed its presence in the land of the rising sun, making it one of the two key markets of the global tech company, providing digital transformation solutions for leading Japanese enterprises.

FPT Software aims to develop a world-class workplace and unique culture, with unified and flexible policies as well as dedicated strategies for employee experience. They currently have more than 26,500 employees, operating in 59 offices in 28 countries, reaching the position of Top 50 leading digital transformation service technology company in Asia.
