Emergency communication provider officially opens new 68,000 square-foot offices at RiverSouth, Texas’ smartest building, as growth accelerates

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AlertMedia, the world’s leading threat intelligence and emergency communication provider, today announced the grand opening of its new, 68,000-square-foot headquarters at RiverSouth. AlertMedia’s offices now occupy the top two floors of the state-of-the-art, 15-story building, recently dubbed the “smartest” office building in Texas, located in the highly desirable Town Lake neighborhood positioned between South First Street and South Congress Avenue. The space boasts numerous smart and environmentally friendly features, hotel-style amenities, and stunning panoramic views of Lady Bird Lake, Auditorium Shores, and the Downtown Austin skyline.

The grand opening of AlertMedia’s new headquarters comes during a period of rapid growth for the company resulting from strong demand for its emergency communication and threat intelligence offerings, now used by more than 3,000 organizations globally. In 2022 alone, the company has hired more than 200 employees, an 80 percent expansion of AlertMedia’s workforce year over year. The new headquarters at RiverSouth, which is more than double the size of the company’s prior offices, will provide ample space to support future hiring plans as well as employees’ need for a centrally located, flexible workplace purposefully designed for a hybrid workforce.

Safety features include air filtration and health monitoring sensors, license plate recognition for authorized users, and voice activation for building amenities.
