AM Best to Present Investment-Focused Session at DWS Americas Insurance Gathering 2022

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will participate at the DWS Americas Insurance Gathering 2022, taking place Sept. 19-20, 2022, in Austin, TX.

Jia Jian, associate director, AM Best, will speak at the opening session, titled, “An Alphabet of Industry Developments.” In the session, Mr. Jian will discuss factors insurance portfolio managers should consider in their allocations, including risk factor changes, capital model updates and increased looks at environmental, societal and governance (ESG) principals. Mr. Jian has been with AM Best since 2015, conducting asset risk analysis for the ratings division.

The theme of this year’s DWS Americas Insurance Gathering, which takes place at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa, is “acuity,” or the collective process of narrowing one’s eye on the current environment—economic, geopolitical and capital markets—to extrapolate details that are integral to insurance portfolio construction and asset allocation.

DWS Group GmbH & Co KGaA is one of the world’s leading asset managers and provides services in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and the Asia Pacific.
