BTIG to Host Inaugural Music NFT Conference on July 26, 2022

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG announced today that the inaugural BTIG Music NFT Conference will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. The one-day virtual event will feature fireside chats and one-on-one meetings with the leaders of more than 40 different music NFT platforms and organizations including blockchain-enabled music-streaming services, NFT marketplaces, Web3 record labels, royalty management projects, and tokenized ticket applications.

Hosting the conference will be Mark Palmer, BTIG Head of Digital Assets Research, and Mike Kaye, BTIG Digital Assets Strategy & Franchise Sales Specialist.

Media mogul and rock star Gene Simmons will participate in the conference as a guest speaker. Mr. Simmons has extended his renown into other areas of the business and entertainment realms through his success as an entrepreneur and television personality. He will shed light on the music NFT and crypto initiatives and where he sees opportunities for fans and artists to benefit from this new technology.

Mr. Palmer leads BTIG’s digital assets research effort and provides comprehensive coverage of both crypto-related equities and of a wide array of verticals across the Web3 ecosystem, including decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and the Metaverse.

“The BTIG Music NFT Conference will highlight some of the most innovative companies, projects, and protocols from the music NFT ecosystem,” Mr. Palmer said. “The event will enable institutional investors to gain a better understanding of the key drivers, industry dynamics, and opportunities made available by the emergence of music NFTs.”
