Public Relations professionals bring skills, expertise to government sector

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, LuncefordWEBB Government Affairs opened for business in Dallas as the Government Affairs division of Sunwest Communications. Founded by Public Relations professionals Michael Lunceford & Crayton Webb, LuncefordWEBB will provide clients with successful, measurable, and insightful strategies to meet government or public affairs needs.

With a deep understanding of the legislative process, Lunceford & Webb understand how it can impact business and how business can impact the legislative process. Bringing decades of combined experience in government affairs and public relations to the table, the LuncefordWEBB team strives to help clients build relationships with key stakeholders, influence public opinion and advance policy.

For 41 years, Michael Lunceford was responsible for worldwide public affairs for Mary Kay Inc. in nearly 40 countries around the world. He has been active in civic affairs, serving on boards in Texas and Washington DC, and has served as a political advisor to many elected officials. He formerly was a member of the Congressional Award Foundation as an appointee of US Senator Bob Dole and a founding member of the Texas Lyceum. He is the Chair of Friends of the Medical Center Political Action Committee, board member of the Dallas Breakfast Group, and a board member of the Policy & Taxation Group.

Crayton Webb is the owner and CEO of Sunwest Communications. Previously, Webb was the VP of Corporate Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility for Mary Kay Inc. In his 12 years with Mary Kay, Webb launched the company’s CSR strategy, Pink Changing Lives, a strategic, multi-platform program with a global reach. Before joining Mary Kay, Webb served as chief of staff for Dallas Mayor Laura Miller and, prior to that, he was a broadcast journalist for nearly ten years.
