Somfy North America Expands Canadian Operations with a New Office in Mississauga, ON.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Somfy, the world’s largest manufacturer of motors for interior window coverings and exterior solar protections, today announces the opening of its new Canadian office in Mississauga, Ontario. In attendance at the grand opening were Mr. Tudor Alexis, the Consul General of France in Toronto, Yilmaz Ozturan, President-CEO of Somfy North America along with the Somfy Canada team and senior management team from Somfy North America.

The new office and warehouse, located in proximity to Toronto Pearson International Airport, represents Somfy's latest investment in the Canadian market for its growing customer and expert dealer base. The new warehouse is double the size of the previous location, providing stronger inventory management and improvement in the supply chain, delivering a seamless experience for professional partners and dealers. The new location will also offer in-person training sessions for up to 30 people at a time who want to learn more about the company’s products and solutions. Hands-on training in the new facility will align with Somfy’s ambition to accompany business partners and its Somfy Expert network in the consumers’ connected journey as smart shades are increasingly becoming the new norm.
