SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Leading applied analytics company FICO (NYSE:FICO) will host a free, virtual “Score A Better Future” financial education event for all audiences on April 28, 2022. Special guest Marsha Barnes, founder and CEO at The Finance Bar, will join Julie Wooding, senior director at FICO, to discuss the importance of financial literacy, including practical tips to better understand credit, how to navigate credit management during times of uncertainty, and what tools are available to empower you on your financial journey.

Titled “Incorporating Credit Awareness along Your Financial Journey,” the April event will continue the “Score A Better Future” informative conversation on the importance of knowing the key components of financial wellness and the FICO® Score, the credit score used by 90% of the top U.S. lenders to make credit decisions. In partnership with the non-profit organization, Operation HOPE, all registrants will receive a free copy of their credit report and FICO® Score with access to one-on-one credit coaching from financial well-being coaches to help attendees identify their starting point and develop a plan to address their financial goals.
