Fraser Health signs for MEDITECH Expanse to support 32 facilities across British Columbia—organization to leverage mobile technology and advanced clinical functionality to enhance care

WESTWOOD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fraser Health (Surrey, B.C.) has selected MEDITECH Expanse to transform care and promote better health outcomes for the more than 1.9 million people it serves throughout 20 diverse communities.

The system’s mobile technology will give providers more patient-facing time and increased efficiency with access to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) through mobile devices. Expanse will also provide advanced clinical functionality, including bedside medication verification, CPOE, and physician documentation.

Fraser Health will implement Expanse across its hospitals and hospital-based clinics — which includes deployment of Expanse Ambulatory. Additionally, they will use MEDITECH’s data repository for enhanced reporting and decision support across the continuum of care.
