Abacus Insights Appoints Mark Caron, Chief Technology Officer at RxBenefits to its Board of Directors

Healthcare veteran provides additional expertise in healthcare and innovation

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Abacus Insights, a leading healthcare data management and interoperability solution provider enabling payers to accelerate value-based care, member engagement and digital transformation initiatives, today announced the appointment of Mark Caron to its board of directors.

Caron will leverage his years of experience in healthcare and SaaS platforms to assist in Abacus Insights’ market growth and innovation. He is currently chief technology officer at RxBenefits, a consulting and pharmacy benefits optimization solution provider, where he is responsible for the company’s product management, technological direction, and future innovations. Before joining RxBenefits, Caron was chief executive officer at Geneia, a subsidiary of Capital BlueCross, that provided analytic solutions and services. While at Geneia, Caron also served as executive vice president of business platforms and solutions and chief information officer at Capital BlueCross.
