Paradigm Sports Announces That Client, Jozy Altidore, Signs With New England Revolution, Reuniting With Former US National Team Coach Bruce Arena

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--After extensive negotiations, the New England Revolution unveiled Jozy Altidore as their newest signing on Monday morning. New England acquired Altidore via free agency after Toronto FC exercised the club’s one off-season buyout.

Altidore helped lead Toronto to their most successful era, which included an MLS Cup, a Supporters Shield, and three Canadian Championships. Altidore leaves the club as an MLS Cup MVP, a two-time MLS All-Star, and the club’s second all-time leading goal scorer with 79 goals scored in all competitions for The Reds.

Between the buying-out of Altidore's previous contract by Toronto, and the guaranteed compensation in his new contract, Altidore will again be the highest-paid American in MLS.

New England opens their MLS campaign on February 26th against the Portland Timbers at Providence Park.
